Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret,” and “The Power”: newyorker.com
Is it od-ing on positive thinking?
This article in New Yorker got me to view positive thinking as a drug of choice for many.
When used sparingly it can be of value, however when this drug abuse is rampant, it could get outright scary…
Being a practical person I am thinking of countermeasure for those affected… May be some good old Woody Allen movies can help those who can still help themselves? :)…
Thoughts?

Just a little side note
ReplyDeleteThe Power is the book Rhonda Byrne was inspired to write after answering several thousands of letters from readers of The Secret.
I am reading it right now. It is good......I'll get back when I am done reading it:)
Thanks for your comment, please do repot back and share your thoughts :)
ReplyDeleteI loved it! I thought it was even better than "the secret", but I love both. I have read "the Secret" several times and will do the same with "the Power". It's easy to flip through for quick inspiration and the book radiates love, which is what the power is about.
